our goals

  The Geneseo School District’s schools are excellent. However, there is always a need to expand educational opportunities and meet the needs of our children beyond the core program. Therefore the goal of GEF is to bring alumni, parents and businesses together to create opportunities that support continuing excellence in the Geneseo School District. These goals are to: 

• Enrich student’s educational experiences
• Strengthen school programs in order to make our district special 
• Allow us to fund teachers’ projects outside the district’s budget
• Enhance the community’s economic future
• Let students and teachers know the community cares
